Medical peel

A peel applies an acid solution at a controlled concentration to speed up cell turnover. Depth is chosen according to the indication and phototype: on darker skin, a cautious, gradual protocol is the rule.

Duration
30 min
Protocol
A course of 3 sessions, away from summer

Indications

  • Pigment spots
  • Uneven skin texture
  • Acne marks
  • Uneven complexion

How it goes

  1. Preparing the skin

Two to four weeks of home preparation is often required, particularly on darker skin.

  2. The application

The solution is applied in successive layers under supervision, then neutralised.

  3. Peeling phase

The skin flakes for three to five days. Strict sun avoidance and daily SPF 50 are required.

Frequently asked questions

Is it suitable for darker skin?

Yes, provided the depth is adapted and the skin is prepared. An overly aggressive peel on a darker phototype risks secondary pigmentation — exactly what the prior consultation exists to avoid.
