Laser hair removal and darker skin: what your phototype changes
On darker skin, both the skin and the hair contain melanin. Why the wavelength, the settings and the sun decide how safe a session is.

Understanding treatments
Casablanca receives high sunshine all year round. It is the factor that decides how most skin treatments hold up.
It is the most repeated recommendation in consultation, and the least followed. Yet it is anything but incidental: at our latitude, sun exposure determines the outcome of almost every skin treatment.
After a peel, a laser or mesotherapy, skin is temporarily more reactive to the sun. Unprotected exposure during that period can produce exactly the pigmentation the treatment set out to soften.
Every day, including in winter, including on overcast days, including behind glass. Reapplying every two hours during prolonged exposure is part of the instruction, not a refinement of it.
Which product, what texture, how it sits under make-up or on oily skin: these are questions for the consultation. A cream you dislike applying is a cream you will not apply.
This text is informative. It does not replace a medical consultation and is not a promise of results.

A first consultation is not about setting a date. It is about examining, ruling out contraindications, and sometimes saying no.
