Light absorbed by the pigment in the hair, whose heat weakens the root that produces it. The aim is a lasting reduction in hair growth, with no guarantee of permanent removal.

All these sessions rest on the same principle: the laser light is absorbed by the melanin in the hair, and its heat reaches the follicle that grows it. The practice works with a Clarity II — alexandrite (755 nm) and Nd:YAG (1064 nm) — and a diode laser; on darker skin, the majority here, Nd:YAG is the reference.
The laser only acts on hairs in their growth phase at the moment of the pulse, hence several spaced sessions, and barely at all on white, red or very fair hair, or on fine down. The aim is a lasting reduction, with no guarantee of permanent removal: maintenance can be useful, especially on hormone-sensitive areas.
Each area can be treated on its own, or with others in the same session. The number of sessions cannot be announced before the examination, and the calendar works around the sun: tanned skin is not treated, which is why starting in autumn or winter helps.

The edges and part of the pubic area, along a classic or high-cut outline agreed with you: a dense zone that generally responds well.

The whole pubic area, the outer labia and the cleft between the buttocks: the most complete and most sensitive of the bikini zones.

The edge that shows beyond a classic swimsuit, leaving the pubic area untouched: the smallest of the three bikini zones.

Dense, often dark hair that usually responds to laser. Shaving, a source of irritation and ingrown hairs, can then become less frequent.

From wrist to elbow, an area exposed to the sun all year: the session calendar is built around sun protection.

From shoulder to wrist, two areas with different hair treated together, often alongside the underarms, which follow the same rhythm.

The backs of the hands and the fingers: thin skin, often sparse hair, and rings to take off before the session.

From the lower ribs to the edge of the pubic area: a frequent request from men, and hair worth investigating when it appears in women.

The line of hair between the navel and the pubic area, often treated with the bikini line it runs into.

A frequent request from men: a large surface of dense hair, treated in long, widely spaced sessions.

From the waist to the top of the buttocks, an area treated alone or with the back, and sometimes for a medical reason.

The whole thigh, from the groin crease to just above the knee: a large surface where hair is often finer than on the lower leg.

From the knee to the ankle: the part of the leg most often shaved, and the one where coarser hair lends itself best to the laser.

From the ankles to the tops of the thighs: a large surface, two kinds of hair, and a schedule best set outside the hot season.

Often fine hair on the buttocks, sometimes with spots: the examination sorts out what the laser can treat and what it cannot.

Thick, dark hairs, often linked to hormones: the laser aims to thin them out, after an assessment where needed.

A thin, sensitive area where everything depends on the hair: dark hair usually responds; for very fine, fair down, laser is not always advisable.

Upper lip, chin, cheeks, jawline and sideburns in one session, adjusted area by area to the hair and the thinness of the skin.

The line of the jaw and the underside of the chin: hormone-related hair in women, the edge of the beard in men.

Where the face meets the hairline: the limit is drawn before the session, so the edge of the scalp hair is left untouched.

The full face and the neck in the same session, when hair extends below the jaw — often against a hormonal background.

Two zones on the same rhythm, treated in the same session: a single schedule and fewer appointments.

Three zones in one session: fewer appointments, but two rhythms to reconcile, as the legs are treated at longer intervals.

From the ankles to the bikini, plus the underarms, in a session of an hour or more: the bikini may be classic, high-cut or full, as agreed.

The widest combination: four zones treated in one session of 75 to 90 minutes, on a shared schedule set in consultation.
