Preparing for a laser hair removal session
The laser targets the hair, so the hair must stay in place and the skin out of the sun. What to prepare weeks before the session, and what to watch for afterwards.

Preparing your appointment
These treatments work on skin quality, not volume, and are planned as a course. What that changes about preparation and scheduling.
Skinboosters, mesotherapy, polynucleotides: these products do not fill, they hydrate and stimulate. The result is not seen after one session but after a course, and it needs maintaining. That is the first thing to know before booking.
A course usually comprises three sessions three to four weeks apart, then maintenance every six to twelve months. Each session lasts around thirty minutes, numbing cream included.
The same rules as any injection: no aspirin or anti-inflammatories for three days, no alcohol the night before. Arrive with clean skin, without make-up or cream.
Schedule the session at the end of the day or on a Friday: the small bumps left by the injections are visible for a few hours.
Pregnancy, breastfeeding, an active skin infection on the area, a herpes flare-up, anticoagulant therapy, or a known allergy to any component.
The product is delivered in regular micro-injections across the area, or in more widely spaced points depending on the technique. The grid is adapted to your skin, not standardised.
Small bumps and redness are normal and fade within hours, sometimes overnight. No make-up for twelve hours, no hammam or intense exercise for twenty-four hours, sun protection for a week.
Call if redness spreads beyond the treated area, if pain appears after several calm days, or in case of fever. A late reaction can be treated, but it should not be waited out.
None of the above replaces the prior consultation: it alone says whether this procedure is right for you, and on what terms.
This text is informative. It does not replace a medical consultation and is not a promise of results.

A tattoo fades over several sessions, and its complete disappearance can never be promised. What the examination decides, what to prepare, and how to care for the skin afterwards.
